INDIVIDU | ‘Dance Short Film’
After encountering a mysterious figure at the heart of a foreboding forest, The Ego finds itself hunted by dark entities who seek to uncover its true identity.
INDIVIDU, French for “Individual”, is an experimental film that captures the psychological battle between The Ego, The Shadow, and the Anima, through contemporary dance.
Heavily inspired by the theories of the Swiss Psychologist Carl Jung, the film emphasizes the importance of integrating aspects of the psyche that one represses due to fears, anxieties, and insecurities - a process coined by Jung as “Individuation.”
